Kerry has been teaching my 11 year old son for 2 years. She has a wonderfully calm, gentle manner, but is still firm with him and the results speak for themselves. My son plays musically and he has progressed quickly.
Kerry encourages him to play music that interests him (such as the theme music from a video game he loves) as well as using music books. This keeps him interested and he will sometimes compose his own tunes and record them to play to Kerry at his next lesson.
I highly recommend Kerry to anyone looking for a supportive, encouraging teacher who always strives to bring out the best in her students.
